Salomon’s filmmaking journey began in high school with his debut short film, Who Am I, casting his own family in the roles. After a brief attempt at studying philosophy in 2002, his passion for film took over, leading him to drop out and dive into filmmaking at Black Maria Film School. There, he created two more shorts, Faith and Sinfónica. Craving new horizons, Salomon moved to Sydney in 2004, where he crafted Smile, a short drama that earned a nomination at the prestigious L.A. Short Film Festival. In 2006, Salomon returned to Bogotá where he created standout music videos and commercials for global brands like Toyota, Pepsi, Axe, Renault, and Unilever. His bold narrative style and unique vision quickly gained recognition, winning him multiple awards.
